Hi there, we’re so sorry for the stress you have experienced. Therefore I am very dissapointed in both halfords and Caboodle!ĭO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Applied for this technology scheme in October was expecting the curry’s card in November (caboodle technology are my employers benefits supplier) recieved the card on Friday and activated we are now on Monday and funds still not cleared, this voucher we have been relying on for the children’s Christmas presents that’s why I applied was expecting in good timing 4 days before Christmas and still no funds on the gift card been told they should be cleared by Wednesday (2days before Christmas) but have been given no definitive awnser, had I have known about all this hassle I wouldn’t have applied and would have had Christmas sorted by now even if we get the funds cleared by Wednesday the kids presents are possibly gunna be out of stock I’ve hadto explain to the children that they may haveto wait till after Christmas for their presents, I didn’t want to but I’ve been left no choice in the current climate this is very disappointing and is causing psychological stress to me and my family considering we applied for the voucher in October! Was looking forward to getting it wether I get it Wednesday or not unfortunately the damage is already done ! -update- now 3days before Christmas and still not cleared funding I have now been informed that I have to use the voucher and I will not be able to be refunded for it. After questioning this with Caboodle they refused to honour what Halfords had told me, that they had cancelled the order. I then heard from payroll that deductions would be starting from my salary for the bike I had returned. So I thought that this matter was dealt with. So having then returned all the other items a few days after the bike, I was told by Halfords that the order had been cancelled with the cycle to work scheme and that there was nothing else for me to do.

Then I could apply again once I'd decided what bike I wanted and could change the value accordingly. So I returened the bike and agreed with Halfords the best thing to do would be cancel the whole order and return all the other items I'd purchased. After redeeming the voucher on a new bike and using it for 2 days I found that flat handlebars cause my wrists pain, having ridden dropped road bars for the last 10 years being fine. I redeemed the voucher through Halfords one of Caboodles largest advertised companies to use the voucher with and a big name so I presumed someone that would be trustworthy.
